These are 3 of my latest cards that I've been working on for swaps.

My New Blue Bike

Just thought I'd share a pic of my new bike, the one I had for a day, then did my wipe out. As you can see the bike did rather well, it's the other side that has the scratches on it. This is my third electric bike, my first was red, second was orange, I just love riding it, one of my stress relievers. I have 2 battery packs & can go for at least 4 hours on one charge.

Marker Thumping

I got this idea from Gina K at Stamp TV, first you color your stamp with markers then thump with co-ordinating colored markers for a neat effect. The background paper is also a freebie I downloaded from Stamp TV, I meant to stamp some 2nd impressions in black but I forgot, guess that means I'll have to do another one......LOL

Here's another shaker card I did using the fun foam, so much easier to do this way.

A Different Fold

I saw this fold over on Ellie's blog the other day, thought it was so charming I had to give it a try & it goes pretty quick as well. I don't know why I have this underline on, don't know how to get rid of it, I'd sure appreciate any ideas as to what I've done here.

HAPPY CAT

This little guy I learned to do in a class from one of the groups I belong to, he's made from punches, I have to work a little harder on the face & slow down but thought I'd share anyway.

Tulips

I know it's been awhile since I've posted but hubby had surgery & is now home recuperating. I'm slowly getting back to some sort of routine & having time to make some cards again. This too is for a color swap, I am pleased with the turnout for a simple card.

Spotlight Fern

This time I decided to reverse my colors for the spotlight card & add a little layering.

Flowers on Foil

I got this idea from Stamp TV, emboss regular household foil with your cuttlebug, add color with rub-ons, layer as you like, for a really neat background.

Butterfly Shaker

I made this shaker card yesterday, it was quicker, easier with less mess than ones I've done before. Norma the manager of a group I belong to taught us to use fun foam in the middle, it hold the beads in place till you tape on the top part with acetate. I should have used an anti static sheet on the acetate to prevent my little beads from sticking to it, oh well I know better for next one.

The Lil Reader

This is still one of my favorite stamps, this time she is helping me in a Turquoise, Purple & Ivory swap. I like doing color challenges, it forces me to use colors I'd not normally use cause I do tend to use a lot of blue.

Spotlight

This is one I've done for a swap & a class project for a card making group I belong to. I think I should've punched my circle in a different color CS but I still like the look of it. I really like the ribbon so of course I have it in various colors from Artful Inkables. Some days I wonder if I'll live long enough to use all my stuff......LOL

Cat Dancer

One more cat from my TAC set & I still have one more to ink up. This set is so darling, 4 cats & some really cute sayings. This is also my very first spinner card, something I've been meaning to do for a long time now.

Creative Cats

Thank you for the healing wishes I've received, I am getting better one day at a time but still looking pretty funny.

I got these 2 cards made yesterday from my new set from TAC, being a cat person I just thought this set was so darling & of course I just had to have it.

Silly Me

I was just getting back into making cards & posting after a fun visit with my 13 year old grandson, now this. Sunday I wiped out on my electric scooter/bike, I have a big scrape on my forehead with stitches, other than looking funny that's not so bad & it doesn't hurt, well, maybe my pride is hurting.....LOL My ribs on my right side are hurting which is preventing me from getting around & doing things I want to do, it hurts even to laugh. The sad thing is I just got my new scooter/bike on Saturday, guess I could say it's broken in now.....grin.

I thought I'd share this with the people who visit my blog as I didn't want anyone to think I'd lost interest in making cards, that's not about to happen anytime soon. I'm hoping to be creative today & get something posted.

Resisting Flowers

I used the resist technique on this card, stamped with Versa Mark, embossed in white, then sponged color on the background.

Sketch Card with Flower Soft

I know it's been awhile since I've posted in here but I've not made too many cards in the past 2 weeks, then it took me awhile to get back into it after a visit from my grandson. This one I did for a sketch swap using my flower soft.

Another Blue Card

This is one I've done for a Hue's of Blue swap, funny blue is one of my favorite colors & I'm having the hardest time with this swap, this still needs somthing.
