Kona on Laundry Day

The challenge this week at Come And Get It is another fun one with the theme of Domestic Animals.  This cute guy is named Kona, and Laundry Day is the name of the digi, he is just one of the darling digis at Oak Pond Creations and so much fun to play with.  Oak Pond Creations are our sponsors this week at Come And Get It.

I colored him with my Copics and highlighted with my Liquid Pearls, had them for years haven't used them for years and they still work just fine, not sure if you can see them in the picture. I added some Glossy Accents, glitter, die cut butterfly and a few other butterflies with a Martha Stewart punch, ribbon, bling and sentiments from my stash.

I hope you come over and enter the challenge who knows you may be the winner this week.

Hmmm What Should I Write

I just got this one put together today, for the challenge at Whoopsi Daisy Challenge.  I colored this sweet little fairy last week but couldn't find the time to put it all together, I hope it was dry  when I took the picture.  She is from the Whoopsi Daisy Designs shop, so many to choose from it's hard to make a decision they are all so darling.

I colored her with my copics, layered her to Elka Romero design paper embossed with my Cuttlebug, I've used 4 die cuts from Memory Box, added Glossy Accents, glitter and bling.

This is such a sweet image I got it over at Whoopsi Daisy Designs, so many to choose from too. Colored her with my Copics, used Spellbinders die to layer her, then the frame on pink embossed cs. Used a few dies from MFT, punched a few butterflies, stamped the sentiment, added some Glossy Accents and a few gems.

A Bird in the Sky

This image I used is from a Tim Holtz collection named Urban Tapestry, one of my favorites.  I stamped the bird with Versa Mark, embossed with clear powder, using Distress inks (salty ocean, squeezed lemonade, pickled raspberry)  & sponge holders I sponged in the colored background.  It turned out darker than planned so I spritzed the whole front with water and gently rubbed with a towel.  I thought it would leave spritz marks but nope, all clear.  The die cuts are from MFT. I layered to an embossed (cuttlebug) cs, then to a white card.

Violet

I was told you get the best pictures with natural light, I hope this is true as I've been going out on my deck in 15 degree cold to take my pictures.  Then the dogs (3) decide they too want to come, they don't rush and they don't worry about me standing in my Tshirt waiting for them freezing, the little darlings.  Yesterday was the coldest day in over 66 years but at least it was sunny, dry, no snow so I'm not complaining.

This is Violet one of Lacy Sunshine's Flower Pot Pretties, she was generously given to me by Heather Valentin to enter into the in the Lacy Sunshine Facebook challenge as well as post her to the Lacy Sunshine Gang FB page and my blog.

I've colored her with my Copics, layered her face as I messed up on the first one, guess this is what's called "double faced" :).  Next I added Glossy Accents, glitter in some spots, punched the butterflies with my MS punch from cs I colored on my gel plate, a few gems and pearls and there she be.

Clean And Simple

This week the theme for the challenge at the Come and Get It Blog is CAS or Clean and Simple. Sounds simple but for me I tend to over due wanting to put way too much on one card,  so, this was difficult.  This is what I came up with using some die cuts, some white card stock embossed with my cuttlebug.

Some days I like getting messy playing with various spray inks on water color paper or heavy duty cs, so I spray, let it run spray some more spray with water, then I save a lot of the paper to use with my dies and or  punches.  This is how the leaves, and butterflies have been colored.

I hope you'll come visit the Come And Get It challenge you may be inspired when you see what the other team members have created and join in.  Looking forward to seeing your creations.
