Success

This has got to be one of my favs, I just love the expression on her face. This is another High Hope Stamp.

Down on the Farm

I finally received my long awaited order from High Hope Stamps but it was well worth the wait besides getting some of the most adorable images, Tina added quite a few freebies for the inconvenience. Its sad for me, as of today they will be wholesale only & there are so many of their stamps I still have on my wish list. Guess I'll just have to find who's selling them retail now.

Joseph's Coat Technique

I was playing around with Joseph's Coat Technique, it's been a really long time since I tried that one & this is what I came up with.

Dream Cat

Still playing around with my ink pads & sponges, trying to get familiar with my various colors, came up with this one. Almost wasn't going to post it as hubby didn't think it was all that, the more I looked at it, I started liking it, not my favorite but I do like it. I realize I could've used better placement but who's perfect eh......LOL

Love Flowers

I've had this Penny Black stamp for over 10 years, the year on it is 1998, bought it long before I had my Copics so of course I had to give it a try. That little guy/girl is just so adorable

Tree House

This is a set from Artful Inkables & I am having a fun time with it. Happy little stamps with some of the sweetest sayings.

Brayering & Sponging Inks

I found this great blog with lots of tutorials that I just love, I've been hooked for over a week now trying some backgrounds with my brayer, sponges & ink pads, I'm having way too much fun. Here is the link if you would like to take a peek, this sure is one very talented lady. She is also offering blog candy.

Shopping Friends

I like this silhouette stamp of girls shopping from Artful Inkables, makes a quick card, the saying is from a different set from TAC. I have so many nice papers but don't seem to use them much but I keep buying them.

Starry Night

I was playing around with my alcohol & inks, well I thought I was, couldn't figure why it wasn't working like it usually did. I finally took a good look at the bottle I thought was alcohol, oh no, I was using water.....DUH I like playing with this technique but it sure is messy.

Red, White & Blue

Another little darling from TAC, this came really easy as I didn't have to think about colors, it's for a swap.

Sparkling Stars

I was playing around with inks & alcohol yesterday, came up with this one but it needs something, I'm at a loss, any suggestions would be really appreciated.

Split Negative

I finally got to make a card yesterday after not making any since Friday, I was going through withdrawal. This is for a Split Negative swap so I decided to use my little zebra from Artful Inkables. I really like their stamps, great selection, they are deeply etched, well trimmed, great prices, come on cling foam & I LOVE the packaging. I just hang them on my wall as the see through containers have pics of each stamp & I can see what I have easily. Here is the link if you'd like to take a look Artful Inkables

Polished Stone & Bleach

I used the polished stone technique on both of these then with bleach & a brush "painted" the the butterfly, flowers & birdcage. I've done polished stone technique before but never thought to use bleach to highlight the impressions, I saw this on Stamp TV.

Another Butterfly

I used baby wipes with sea shell inkers to create this background, then colored the butterfly with the same inkers.

Red & White

I saw a card posted with this color scheme, thought how nice so of course I had to try doing one.

Earth Tones

This time I used baby wipes & dabbed the color from inkers, then made an ink pak with the inkers to stamp the butterfly, outlined with glossy accents, finished with a little glitter

Little Flower Girl

Here's a couple I I did for a color swap, with 2 of my favorite stamps.

Sponged Background

I was only using DP as they came to layer, on this one I've sponged on some color & stamped the crackle as well.

Using Baby Wipes

This one I used baby wipes for the background, then made a stamp pad out of them for all the colors to be co ordinated.

Similar but Different

I got this set from TAC, love butterflies so was playing around yesterday & so far came up with these 2.

A Box for Cards

I got the pattern & idea from Dawn's video & made this little box that holds 6 cards & envelopes. Quick & easy to make.

A Flower Soft Branch

I was playing around with my Flower-Soft & different colors & came up with this one.

Framed Bird

This one is the same image as below with a little different layout

My New Blue Bike

Just thought I'd share a pic of my new bike, the one I had for a day, then did my wipe out. As you can see the bike did rather well, it's the other side that has the scratches on it. This is my third electric bike, my first was red, second was orange, I just love riding it, one of my stress relievers. I have 2 battery packs & can go for at least 4 hours on one charge.

Marker Thumping

I got this idea from Gina K at Stamp TV, first you color your stamp with markers then thump with co-ordinating colored markers for a neat effect. The background paper is also a freebie I downloaded from Stamp TV, I meant to stamp some 2nd impressions in black but I forgot, guess that means I'll have to do another one......LOL

Here's another shaker card I did using the fun foam, so much easier to do this way.

Tulips

I know it's been awhile since I've posted but hubby had surgery & is now home recuperating. I'm slowly getting back to some sort of routine & having time to make some cards again. This too is for a color swap, I am pleased with the turnout for a simple card.

Spotlight Fern

This time I decided to reverse my colors for the spotlight card & add a little layering.

Flowers on Foil

I got this idea from Stamp TV, emboss regular household foil with your cuttlebug, add color with rub-ons, layer as you like, for a really neat background.
