HIPPOS

I've been making fridge magnets lately as hubby says we need some so I thought these 2 would look cute on the fridge.  All images are by Sandra Caldwell, there is Grandpa Hippo, Hairdresser Hippo and Beach Babe Hippo, all to fun to color.

I just color with Copics then add a couple of coats o sealer, so far I just have one coat as I like them to dry overnight.

My New Purse

Fairy Rosalie

A new Challenge begins today at Crafting for all Seasons with the theme being "Use 3 of Something" and I chosen to use 3 of the same flowers from a punch.

A BOOKMARK

This cute image called "Bearly a Headache", comes from Sandra Caldwell on Etsy. She made this image specially for her good friend, Holley, who has been seizure free for 6 years after brain surgery.

 Holley is having a bookmarker challenge on her blog using this image.  Colored with Copics and the way she is sitting I decided to give her some pants too, then cut to 3D, sprayed the background with Shimmer Spray, script and book stamps (3D) are from my stash.  Then using a brush to seal it all with a bit of a shine.

Love Letters in the Sand

I've had some fun with this image by Sandra Caldwell named Love Letters in the Sand. 
I decided to make my own background stamping with Versa Mark and embossing with clear powder then sponging with Distress Inks, something I haven't done in a long time.  I forgot how messy this is but it was fun.

A Love Journal

This is Nibbles and Munchie images from the Lacy Sunshine Stamps

A little love journal I made I stamped with a script stamp on blue cs with blue ink, colored image with Copics, hearts are embossed and from a Martha Stewart punch, butterfly is a die cut. Then I gave it 3-4 layers of Modge Podge to seal it.

Christmas Confections - Christmas Related Sweets and Treats

I thought roasting chestnuts, candy canes and cookies for Santa are certainly related to Christmas treats.  I'm using Rory Roasting Chestnuts, Rory's Bag of Candy Canes and Cookies for Santa was a gift to the members of the Lacy Sunshine Group on Face Book by Heather Valentin.  The other 2 images of Rory are from Lacy Sunshine's online store where you will find an amazing assortment of  characters and so much more all created and designed by Heather Valentin, artist and owner of the shop.

I thought I'd use Girl with Pigtails from the Julia Spiri Etsy store, where you'll find so many wonderful images as well as a nice variety.

The house and roof are cut from cs, roof and embossed with the Sizzix brick and wood folder, the path was embossed with the cobble stone folder, on either side of the path I added various colors of Flower Soft.

I chose to use Bear Friend from the P Pinky Dolls Art Etsy store and make a fridge magnet/paper weight. 

Colored with Copics and using Modge Podge  adhered the cs with the image to a ceramic tile then laying 3 more coats of Modge Podge, attach a magnet on the back and that's it.
