Sunflower ATC's

The one on the left I made using peel off stickers & my glaze pens I think that's what they're are. I wasn't planning on doing the background blue but the urge hit & I followed it - glad I did as I like the outcome. The other one I colored the stamp with markers, spritzed with water, stamped on 140 lb watercolor paper & cut out. I used a script stamp for the background, distressed the edges & outlined with my gold Krylon.

Camping with Bear

Well, didn't I have fun today making cards, I got 3 made, the time went by so fast. I just got this set of stamps from TAC & I'm so in love with this little bear, I couldn't stop playing with him. The blue tent is the first one I did, I wanted the bear to sit more lay back but the tape took hold before I could place him, then hubby suggested I use different trees as I have soooo many tree stamps, so, on to the next one. This time I added some of my stampscape trees.

Joani's Fall Birthday Card

Ok, I wasn't going to say who I made this card for but Joani has posted on her blog, check it out here that she wants to give out blog candy for her birthday. Now you know it's for you Joani. Thank you as you can see I got the link thing...

I did this card using my fall color pigment inks, stamped some leaves, a tree in the background & triple embossed the 3d leaves with ultra thick embossing powder. While they are still warm you can mold them into shape & it gives them a glassy look, hard to see in the pic. I can't say who's birthday card it is as she may be looking.....lol

Just to Say Hello

This is another one where I've sponged pigment inks on the cardstock, stamped & embossed on my cuttlebug. I've also distressed the edges with a blade & inked them.

Fall Cards

These 2 were fun to do, I sponged pigment inks, stamped over them & embossed with my cuttlebug. The leaf on top was colored, cut & embossed 3 times with ultra thick powder, gives it a glassy look & while it's still warm you can shape it.

Celebrating Friendship

This card I received from a friend & I love what she did with it. We met by the river a year ago & have become really good friends, not only did she make this card for me but also wrote the poem. This is a card I will treasure - Thank you Fran.

BLACK & WHITE

With so many colors to choose from black & white may seem a strange choice but these 2 were done for a Black & White swap & it was a nice change to work with black & white

GIRLY STUFF

These 2 I've done for a Card Sketch swap I joined. The one on the left was made using TAC stamps, I'm loving this set, the women are so funky & the sayings too cool. The 1 on the right I used a Penny Black stamp I've had for a couple of years at least & it's about time I made a card with it, the saying is from the TAC set - & oh so close to my heart. I am so learning about using my credit cards.

Nature Bugs

The one on the left was embossed with bird call in my cuttlebug, colored with prisma pencils & a few punched flowers & bugs were added. The little snail was stamped, colored & I then added glossey accents & glitter. The one on the right was stamped with various inks before embossing in my cuttlebug.

CIRCLES & SCALLOPS

These cards I made for a circle & scallop swap. At first I wasn't too impressed with the one on the right till hubby said he really liked it (I thought he's just being nice). I left it for a bit went back to take a sceond look & I'm liking it now. I think too often we look at our cards too closely & not at the completed whole picture. So I'm now curious as to what others think - good or bad I can take it.....LOL I like the one on the right, the circle opens with a message inside.

PINK & BROWN TREES

Last week I received my first sets of stamps from TAC, I'm loving them but am also overwhelmed by having 7 new sets of stamps at one time to play with - oh, which set do I play with first. Joining a Pink & Brown swap made it a little easier as I didn't have to stop & think about which color I'd use & loving trees so much (especially these trees) my decision was made. Living in a small town supplies are not readily available to me but I found a stamp store that is only 1/2 drive as opposed to my favorite store that is 1 1/2 hour drive. It was a fun week, getting my new stamps in the mail & finding a store to purchase cardstock & embellisments closer to home.

Thank You from a Friend

I had to share this card that I received from my good friend Dee, I absolutely love it & it's the very first of it's kind that I have received - Thank you Dee. She even had matching ink to write her message.
