Permanent Markers & Alcohol

I've been coloring my stamps with Sharpie markers, spritzing with alcohol, then stamping. You can spritz 3 times without recoloring & get 3 different looks. The card above was the second impression , the one below it was my first impression. I tried this with my Copics & no matter how much I cleaned the stamp beforehand the Copic color came out muddy looking. Maybe on a new stamp it would keep the color.
