Party Mice

Another little cutie from Bildmalarna stamps, I sure had fun with this one.  I stamped the bottle label & cork wrapper on silver cs & lots of glossy accents on the bottle.  I was tempted to stamp the cork on cork but I was sorting & organizing paper all day & too darn tired/lazy to get up & get it, next time :>)

This is actually the second version of this card as I lost the first one that was for a swap.  I spent so much time looking I finally gave in, sat down & made another.  Of course I found the original one shortly after the second was completed........in my linen closet......go figure, another day of CRS.  This time I actually stamped the bottle cork on cork.

I really, really need more practice coloring orange cats, you can see here why I have a fear of doing this.

I've been giving card making instructions to a friend who is very enthusiastic about learning.  This is one of her first cards, a thank you to me, I don't think she needs anymore lessons, she is doing very well.  I think all she needs is a little more knowledge about the products available.

Soccer Star

Now this little guy comes with a story, I sent my grandson a card with some cash figuring his main interest was the cash.....wrong.  Apparently after opening the card he turned it to look at the back, that's when he realized his Omi didn't make this card & made mention of the fact to his Mom.  He's a super little soccer player since he was 4 yrs old & still going strong at 13yrs.  When I saw this stamp I knew I had to have it to make him a card.

This is the second time I got caught by a grandson, I only have 2, now I know they both check to see if Omi made their cards.  Funny I never really thought my hand made cards were meaningful to my grandsons, well, they showed me :>)

Framed Flowers

I was going to try the double embossing technique I saw at SCS, you can see it HERE
well, I couldn't get the cardboard thick enough or it was too thick.  Then I had this thought, emboss, die cut, make frame with 2 die cuts & emboss, much easier with the same look for me anyway.

Just Sitting in the Rain

Now when I saw these 2 stamps I had to have them like NOW.  These are from Whimsy Stamps, you can see them HERE.  They ship quickly too.  I had some fun doing some paper piecing with this & now want to try more of that too.

Feed Me

This digi is from Whoopsi Daisy, she does some beautiful artwork, you can check it out for yourself here.  There is a freebie too.  I used a little flower soft & brown glitter in the food dish.

Brush Writer

I forget where I got this  digi, I'll remember eventually I'm sure.  At first I thought I'd resized her too small but out of share laziness on my part I colored, cut, layered, well not too bad eh.  Digi is from Tidly Inks.

Farmer Bobble

Well a couple of friends have me hooked on making "Bobble Heads"  & they are just way too much fun.

This poor farmer is looking like he has a bad complexion, well, he had a real good one before I dropped him into the dog's water dish before sealing him.  Now the black edging has seeped into his face, poor little farmer.  Maybe I can make him into a farmer with color......LOL

 This was a fun card to do, cat, dog & books are all Magnolia stamps, little Tossa/Tosse is from Bildmalarna stamps.

Bobble Head

A group I belong to have been playing around making bobble head cards/magnets so of course I had to give it a try.  These are fun & easy, just takes a little piece of wire to make a little spring & voila you have a bobble head.  This little guy is just leaning against a piece of card stock.

The Dog House

I like this dog house by Magnolia but found it a little too large for my taste so once again I stamped, scanned, re sized & printed, works for me.

Brds in Love

I don't usually make Valentines but when I saw this little stamp at Michaels for $1.50 of course I couldn't just leave it there eh.  Then of course I wanted to use my new tulip punch & my new butterfly punch, so this is how this card came to be :-)

The Little Chef

3 of the stamps I used for this card are borrowed from a good friend of mine but I thought they went well with the 2 of mine, yep 5 stamps used on this little card.  Now the little thing on the ribbon is a rolling pin with a butterfly sitting on it.  I don't know why in the picture it looks like it's bent, it really isn't.........hmmmmm

A Walk in the Rain

I just love that little dog in the raincoat so of course I had to ink him up again.  I'm liking this one done in the blues the best.

Slider Pop-up

You should see my first attempt at this card, what a mess, dogs thought so too & decided to play tug of war with it.  I'm still not thrilled with this one, had I know it would turn out so well, the slider pop-up part I would've used blue & silver but figuring this would go the way of my first one I just grabbed the gold.

This one is for a swap called "Jewels", I just knew she'd be the perfect character to use for this swap, she's from High Hope Stamps.  This card has a total of 16+  little gems on it, of course I had to add a little glitter to her hair as well, you just can't see it in the pic.

A friend of mine sent me a really nice little calendar, I liked it so much I had to try making some myself & she kindly sent me the calendar pages who were designed by another friend.  I've been putting my new Cinch to work & it really is a "cinch" to work it.
