Rory Fae with Rory Fae

This is Rory Fae and Rory Fae flipped, thought they'd look cute together.  I got her at the Lacy Sunshine Shoppe where a lot of my favorite cute little characters live and there are so very many of them.

I embossed the background with Spellbinders Brick folder, then sponged with Distress Inks. Use my dies for the trees, birds, branches, grass and fence and colored Rory with Copics, added Glossy Accents and a little bling.

Something New and Something Old

Good morning I hope everyone had an enjoyable weekend.  Today begins a new challenge at Incy Wincy  with the theme being:  Something New and Something Old.


This week our sponsor is Polka Doodles and what a large variety of images and supplies they carry for their customers to choose from.

I've chosen the digital image of Alyce Sewing for my DT card, something new is the image (my first) and something old is the ribbon (a few yrs old).

I've colored with my Copics, I cut and colored Alyce and the cat so I could 3D giving them a little more dimension.  Used Glossy Accents, Stickles, and bling, pearls, ribbon and embossed the lower portion of the card stock.

#43 Weather/Change of Season

This week was quite exciting for me as I was invited to be a part  of the Lacy Sunshine Design Team and of course I accepted.   Heather Valentin is the artist and I am so in love with her characters/images, I've lost count of the number in my collection and they just keep growing.

Today is the start of a new challenge at the Lacy Sunshine Challenge Blog with the theme Weather/Change of Season.  I hope you'll come share your creations with us we'd love to see them and there are some wonderful prizes to be won.

 I've chosen to use Emmilou  Boo's Caramel Apples from Lacy Sunshine a Crafter's Candy Shoppe. This shop is  filled with a variety of charming characters that are so fun to create with.

Emmilou is colored with Copics, Glossy Accents, Stickles and a little bling were added.  The leaves, grass and background were sponged with Distress Inks and background embossed with Spellbinders Bark folder, Trees, grass, fence and bird are die cuts.

Anything Goes With Water

Good morning I hope everyone is having a relaxing Sunday.  Today begins a new challenge at Come And Get It titled Anything Goes with Water, this leaves lots of room for creativity.

Colored with Copics, layered to cs from the Magic Bubble Bath pack, I cut some of the flowers to 3D them, using Stickles, Glossy Accents and a few gems, the butterfly and corner flowers/centers are from  punches.

Birds on a Branch

A new challenge begins today on the Fairy Tale Challenge Blog this one is Wood Dots and Twine.

My birds are stamped on wood, it's actually Balsa wood from my really old stash.  I used Archival ink, using Versa Magic I stamped a script stamp from Hero Arts, then layered to card stock, I attached a piece of hemp twine and my dots are in the corners, 2 little black ones.

Meet Lucy Loo Rose she is a digital image from the East Wind Etsy Shop where you can find a large assortment of some fabulous images.

Colored with Copics, a lot of bling added, cut with a Sissix oval die so frame could be embossed, then image could be fitted back in, then layered to more embossed designer cs, Glossy Accents, glitter and Stickles added, butterfly is a die cut.

Red Wine and Roses

It seems Fall has really arrived much to my joy as I've felt like I was melting the past couple of months, it was a hot summer here.

This is my card for the new challenge that begins today at the Come And Get It Challenge, the theme this week is Use 3 of Something.

Sugi

This is Sugar Sugi Plum and you can find her here  at the Lacy Sunshine Shoppe.  As soon as I met her I knew I was headed to the shop, she is so darling.

Colored with Copics the leaves are from various dies, the flowers and butterflies from punches, her hat is flocked, Glossy accents, frame is embossed with folder and some Stickles.  I sprayed the bottom flower with Dulusions London Blue while holding it in the center of my palm, not my smartest idea, my entire palm was blue, really messy.

Fairy Wishes

The image I used is Molly Fairy Stories, she is a Lacy Sunshine image that you can find here at the Lacy Sunshine Shoppe.

Colored with Copics, a few die cuts added, lots of bling, couple pearl flourishes, Glossy Accents, embossing folder, Stickles.  I've cut the 2 ovals one inside the other to create a frame as I wanted her to be in between which she is.
